Flicker in the eyes

To make up for leaving me all alone, to fend for myself during the first week of school while they went holidaying in Italy....

they got me this heavenly creation bestowed upon mankind through the form of a perfect low heeled Salvatore Ferragamo. And its relatively cheaper there compared to the ones in Singapore! Italy is definitely on my to-do list now.

Thank you so much Parents! ♥

Delve Deeper

Decided it would be refreshing (& safer actually) to have strangers peek in on what had troubled me recently, & listen to their opinions. So I turned to OMEGLE. It sounds strange & completely absurd, but I'd prefer a stranger rather than a friend to know about my troubling secrets. And so for 15 minutes, I poured out my silly, immature woes & frustrations to somebody different & new. But looks like even he couldn't think of a way. Nevertheless, it was a joy, having a crisp, new perspective on this. Really great talking to you, 16 year old nameless male from Sweden (if that's who you really are). Hope you have a nice life. :3

All your Friends & Enemies.

It really is a "small world after all" huh? When I was young & naive, I used to love that song. It made me feel like all of humanity was close, like everyone's warmth & smiles were strung on the same colourful beaded necklace, as if I could touch everyone's thoughts ... & that everybody was a friend.

"That's bullshit & you know it"

On an equally dark note, RIP little Yue Yue. Your horrible, painful death will be a haunting reminder for us all, of the current decaying moral ethics in this doomed world. May you find peace in your afterlife, perhaps reborn on another planet where humans (& motor vehicles) don't exist.

Its been raining the entire week in Singapore. Forgive me for sounding like a melodramatic, depressing teen poet, but it seems like the gods are weeping over the sad loss of humanity. By that, I mean the quality of being humane.

We all hurt inside. Nobody just bothers to ask why.

So bad that thinking about you would be a crime

PARIS PART I .

(Pants:Zara,Sweater:H&M,Rosary:Dip-Drops,Coat:Topshop)

As promised, here are some of my visuals from Paris! While touring Europe, Paris was where my camera's memory card nearly exploded. I recall stopping every 35 seconds to take a snap, a routine that really pissed my parents off to no end.

I FINALLY GOT TO SEE THE REAL MONA LISA!!! ( O w O ) That's one item off my bucket list! She's surprisingly quite small in real-life, & cordoned off pretty far away from everybody, encased in layers of bullet proof glass (which kinda sucks for photographers due to the reflection). Apparently, its always crowded everyday, there. Talk about charisma from a silent (& dead) person. And that myth/legend that its seems like the Mona Lisa seems to be staring at you no matter which angle you stand at? Absolutely, amazingly true. Though it feels more like she's smirking than smiling if you ask me. I got to see a few other world renowned art pieces at the famous Lourvre Museum (Paris Fashion Week was just held there! :3), kudos to you if you recognize the 2 other sculptures shown here~

Ah, Paris... where do I even begin? I've never seen a city more beautiful, really. Everywhere you turn, anywhere you look, there will always be traces of art, just waiting to render you breathless you with its graceful beauty. Be it a pillar, balcony, statue, fountain, or gate, skillful carvings & sculptures can be found in everything! You simply can't help but admire the amount of effort & detail invested in them!

Interestingly, the city certainly wasn't really exactly what I envisioned. Movies, books, blogs and the media have all played a role in painting a beautiful portrait of Paris as an elegant, romantic city, where seductive mystery and promised glamor awaits in every corner & street (okay I'm not making any sense with that am I -_-). Sadly, that image crumbled slightly, perhaps starting with the fact that when we first reached Paris, we were warned by 6 different people, more than 20 times in total (in just one day!) about the pickpockets that were apparently trawling about secretly. Though I knew about pickpockets in Europe, I never expected their constant presence EVERYWHERE. We even saw a pickpocket get apprehended & detained by the police right in front of our very eyes. Talk about a cultural shock - Singapore's so safe I usually shop with my bag fully open (wallet in full view & hand's reach)without a care in the world. A stark contrast to how I behaved in Paris - with my handbag clamped tightly between my armpits 24/7, plus a protective hand clutching the sides as if my life depended on it. I know this all sounds very exaggerated, but I suppose when your tour guide tells you 10 different pickpocket tragedies at EVERY new location, a reaction like that could be excused as acceptable. :/

Well, I suppose every place has its dirty underbelly, Singapore has an unsightly side as well. All that aside, Paris truly lived up to its name as the ultimate shopping paradise. A luxury brand store at every turn, H&M at every street, malls that stack one after another like dominoes. I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be safe for myself to travel there alone - not because of the pickpockets, but probably due to the fact that I would have to declare myself bankrupt after shopping myself silly in just a few days there.

Alright, I'm sorry for such a wordy post. You must be terribly bored by all that :< . Got a bit carried away just remembering the days I spent in magnificent Paris, haha. Paris Part II coming up real soon! Lets pray school (which has started, sadly) is kind to my schedule! ( > w < )

And the worst thing is there's nobody else to blame

(photos taken by phone, edited with little photo app)

I look like a silly goat goof. Ah well, its not the first time, & I'm pretty sure it won't be the last. Sigh. ( - A - ;)

Oh boy. So I re-read my last post on Germany & realized how incoherent & verbally crippled I sound. Well, that's what you get for trying to rush a post late at night with your mother yelling at you every 3 minutes to get the heck off the computer so she can get to sleep without the clickity-clack of keyboards. At this point, I'm still baffled that I have readers & followers still reading ( ; w ; )

I'll be heading back to Singapore in about 1 day's time, alone, due to my holiday's damned early ending :<. School's about to start in a few more days... & I am totally, definitely, absolutely, without a doubt, not ready. At all.

Sacré Bleu.

The only one who makes sense when everything else is wrong

(Can you spot me in the picture above? c:)

I've only spent roughly 2.5 days in Germany, but its really given me a whole lot to think about! One of the highlights included visiting one of the oldest Cathedrals in the world, the Hohe Domkirche St. Peter und Maria. This magnificent architectural art stood out plain as day among the stacks of modern high-rise offices & buildings, simply hard to miss. I think its absolutely wonderful to have such a towering, beautiful piece of history, standing tall & proud in the middle of a bustling city to remind all of the people of where & what they once came from. As well as the significant events that made what their country is today! ' u '

My god, I do apologize for rambling on like a history nut. Extremely sorry for the small photo pool as well- the weather in Germany was as impulsive & erratic as a teenage girl at the peak of her PMS. '~' Imagine 5 minutes of rain followed by 30 sec of sunshine, somewhere along those lines.

Visuals of Paris coming soon! Leaving from Paris to Switzerland tomorrow~ >w<

And this type of love isn't rational, its physical

To any reader who is having a bad day: just take a look at the photos of my obviously failed 1st attempt at eyeliner, & laugh yourself silly.

Its finally time! With glee & a slight tinge of sadness in my heart, I bid you all a temporary goodbye! This entire week has been well spent packing, getting together with old friends, saving up,re-packing, spending whatever I saved... (lather, wash, rinse & repeat). When tomorrow rolls around, I'll be on my way over to Europe~ ヾ( ^ω^)ノWhich means for the next 1.5 weeks, I'll probably won't be able to update as regularly :c I'LL MISS EACH AND EVERYONE ONE OF YOU TERRIBLY!!! Q A Q /(really, I will!) Lugging my laptop over, so fingers crossed the Internet there doesn't cost an arm or leg!

Above is just one of the outfits I'm packing for my Europe trip! Finally, after searching high, low & just about every cave possible, I've found the PERFECT leather travel boots, complete with cute slight rugged patches, perfectly strapped buckles & a medium yet shockingly comfortable heel! Ah, god has finally answered my prayers! ✌(◕ω◕)✌

In case if you are wondering, those eyeliner shots were taken at the Men's Shoe Department in Marks & Spencer. Which explains the shoes. I've always found men shoes slightly attractive. Hmm...

じゃあね~! See you all soon! ((*´Д`)ノ

I'll remember you. And only you.

Beautiful Lies

Grabbed these off from Lizzie~ :3 I do apologize for the quality though, since we have different cameras. Thanks to her camera's multi-shot capabilities, she managed to capture an unintentional 'LIKE A BOSS' moment, heh. (last 3 photos) These were taken at a surprisingly pretty courtyard of Parkview Square, an office building we came across on our way back from Haji Lane. After watching us camwhore ourselves silly, a few other tourists/Filipino maids started to join in the photo-taking frenzy as well. O 3 O ....

4 more days to my Europe trip... can't wait! (> w <)/
