The meaning of everything

On Sunday, my family and I spent a good 30 minutes standing in front of a pet shop window, watching rabbits display an obvious sense of naivety and innocence through undeniably adorable (yet cutely stupid) actions. Such as attempting to chew the water bottle wire, and then trying to chew each others tail. Just looking at their fuzzy butts and constantly twitching noses was enough to send me into the other world.

Yes, I have a tiny bit of fetish for rabbits.

(sorry for the slightly blurred pictures! Window wasn't exactly sparkly clean :/)

Vest: Oakham Market, Leather Top: Far East Plaza, Silk paper bag pants: Forever New, Watch: Victoria's Market, Bugs Bunny Pin: America

I apologize for the recent lack of posts. Work has been an enchanted, purple fat caterpillar that sucks the life energy from your very soul with a silver straw.

Just came back from a great class chalet yesterday! Had whaleloads of good old fun with my classmates~ I'm really going to miss them when the new semester starts.
( ゚,_ゝ゚)

Anyway, Here's a few shots of what I wore! Played around with photoshop this time~ (^□^*) Was slightly amused when I found this Bugs Bunny Pin hidden in a pile of my junk. I got it when I was about 6 years old, during my visit to Universal Studios, America. Maybe I'll make it a heirloom and pass it to my children so they can pass it to their children (and so on). And the horse watch! Such a lovely vintage find indeed, Victoria Market never fails to surprise me with their cheap offerings.

Stay around! More updates should be coming soon! (*ahem* I smell a selling post~)

"Have you ever thought that the reason why you always feel left out is because you don't trust anybody enough to let them really connect with you?"

"Yes, perhaps so. But even then, I'm willing to take that risk . Because its worth it."

Is it really

To live as a monster or die as a man?

Found these photos in my camera! They were taken quite a few months back if I'm not wrong...?

Don't you just LOVE this dress! The moment I laid eyes on it I knew that this was god's gift to mankind. Though it was slightly pricey since its from Korea, I just couldn't resist it! It looks exactly like it just sprang out from a Paul & Joe Sister collection doesn't it? Ah, the whimsical, hand-painted-like does that seem to tread softly on a cream coloured dress.... and the intricate lace waistband! Another dress that evokes sweet childhood memories and never fails to make me smile. Simply divine! I could dance all day in this~ ( ´∀`)

Anyway, tomorrow is my first day at work! If all goes well (hopefully), I'll tell you guys more about it!

" Help, I just got mugged by a whale! "

To sail out to such an open sea, where the skies seem to touch the water, and the clouds felt like a hand's reach away.

Whale-watching in Gold Coast truly proved to be one of the best decisions in my life! Though I had seen a whale before during another whale-watching tour in Perth, the whale was so far away its just seemed like a lump of coal bobbing on the sea surface. And that encounter only lasted 36 seconds.
I honestly didn't believe it when the tour guaranteed 'see a whale or your money back', but the whales in Gold Coast proved us wrong! Not only were we lucky enough to have 5 dolphins (they were so quick so I couldn't get any good shots of them, sorry :/) frolick around the boat teasingly without any caution, but we had a one-in-a-hundred close-up meeting with this humongous humpback whale! It literally just swam up to the boat and peered at us curiously. Even the guides were saying how rare it is for a whale to surface so close to the boat without any fear.

And the whale? Such a cute thing it was, showing off by performing underwater flips, and poking its head out of the water to nod at us. (You would think Seaworld actually released a trained humpback whale into the wild to entertain us, heh) I always thought that the rainbow that appears when water shoots out from a blowhole in cartoons were fake, until I saw it in real life for myself. THERE REALLY IS A RAINBOW. CARTOONS ARE REAL! (okay maybe not that part). The whale stayed with us for a total of 45 minutes, and I swear, it was always swimming to the side with the most cameras. ◕ ‿‿ ◕

Ah, and the guide told us that the way in which the whale was behaving was called 'mugging'. So yep, for once in my life I finally got mugged by a whale. What a whale.

Breathe you in, inhale you whole

Just passed Geraldine her Jeffrey Campbell Wedges today! We have agreed to both wear our new foot candy during our next outing! Looking forward to tottering around town in those, while trying to make sure I don't accidentally kill anybody giving these babies a spin! :3

Right now its 1:54 am here, and I'm really craving homemade apple pie.

There's a Fire starting in my heart

My glorious day on Wednesday started with meeting the ever wonderful Melissa T for brunch at Clark Quay, Liang Court! Its definitely tons of fun to be out with her - she's one of the very few who doesn't mind my photo-taking obsession, and even happily partakes! We literally jizzed in our pants had an uncontrollable happy spaz attack when we saw all the goodies in the Japanese Supermarket, hopping from shelf to shelf, shrieking and squeaking with delight at everything. (I have a feeling that we may be banned from the Supermarket in the future) O(≧∇≦)O. Gossip, jokes, blabbers and even boy-talk were exchanged over a wonderful meal of Japanese tempura Eggplant and Potato Croquette Curry. The meal was so tasty the both of us spent a good 10 minutes muttering to ourselves about the goodness of it all ("My god this Eggplant.. its just so tender and soft...", "such thick and rich curry shouldn't be able to exist...").

( ̄▽ ̄)ノ

Yes, there really isn't any better way to spend a day with your old friend, listening to her explain the proper way to eat a 'smore fish' (apparently you have to place the chocolate graham fish on top, and the honey graham at the bottom, with the tiny marshmallow fish sandwiched in the middle. You'll be surprised at the amount of theory and reasoning put into that).

On a side note, I think its really time to get a haircut! My mushroom bob is morphing out of shape, and starting to look more like a lumpy cloud ; A ;
